چکیده
Objectives: Fungal rhinosinusitis is one of the important healthcare problems and its incidence prevalence are increasing over past three decades. It affects approximately 20% population at some time in their lives. We aimed to identify characterize microorganisms causing non-invasive correlate findings with clinical profile patients. Methods: Clinically suspected cases were enrolled study detailed history was taken. Samples like nasal mucosa, crusts, scrapings / excised polyps, biopsy collected. The specimens processed for fungal culture. Isolates identified as per standard protocols. Results: A total 74 patients clinically our out which 60.8% males. most common presenting complaint obstruction (91.8%) followed by discharge (77%). characterizing, type seen allergic (44.6%). KOH positivity 45.6% culture 30.4%. isolate Aspergillus flavus. Conclusion: Continuous periodic evaluation microbiological patterns isolates necessary decrease potential risk complications early institution appropriate treatment.
